Moto Z3 Play with Snapdragon 660 benchmarked on Geekbench
Lenovo-owned Moto is expected to launch the Moto Z3 Play at an event on June 6. Geekbench single-core and multi-core benchmarks of the phone have leaked online. If the benchmark leak is to be believed, then the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC. In the Geekbench benchmark, the device scored 1299 in its single-core test and 4851 in the multi-core test. If information circulating the internet is to be believed, then the Moto Z3 Play should sport a 6-inch FullHD+ AMOLED touchscreen. It could come with a dual rear camera setup along with an 8MP selfie camera. A 3000mAh battery is expected to power the device. The Moto Z3 Play is also expected to be compatible with a bunch of Moto Mods. Information circulating the internet shows the smartphone with the speaker mod and the projector mod. Both the mods aren’t new and are available in the market. Not too much about the Moto Z3 Play’s software is known to us yet, except that it could run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, and that the navigation bar seen in the leaked image is similar to that seen on the second Developer Preview of Android P. This too seems to have a ‘gesture pill’ that we expect to see implemented in Android P. Moto phones have been known to sport stock Android with a few minor tweaks when it comes to the OS. Recently we saw a mod on the Moto Z3 Play, dubbed the 5G Moto Mod, which is said to enable 5G connectivity on the phone. All we know about it is that it is rather thick in size and has a protruding antenna lip at the top. The Moto Z3 Play is expected to launch alongside its 5G companion Mod on June 6.
